In 2020, Improvise!

I love improvising when creating meals for my family and friends. The pictured dish is thinly sliced bone in pork chops, marinated in honey, beer, sage and some other goodies, over a bed of couscous seasoned with smoked paprika. The pictured salad is baby kale and cucumber in a lemon dill dressing. The best part of this dish was I was able to create it with ingredients I already had at the house, no recipe, just knowing what flavors would meld well together.

Next time you have to come up with a quick meal at home, I challenge you to look in the refrigerator and pantry and improvise with what you already have. You’ll be surprised at the number and types of dishes you can create and how often they become staples in your diet!
