It's not always about food ...

I love to eat - ask anyone that knows me. I’m passionate about all aspects of food - creating new recipes, perfecting old ones, trying new cuisines, etc. Those that know me also know I love cocktails - in particular I love traditional cocktails, Old Fashion, Manhattan, Rob Roy, etc. My favorite happens to be a good old Martini - I prefer vodka but also love a good gin. Just a splash of Dry Vermouth, shaken, with a twist of lemon peel or nice blue cheese stuffed olives make for a perfect before dinner drink.

If you haven’t tried a Martini , or just haven’t had one in a while, start with a traditional gin martini. Most people prefer London Dry Gin (like Beefeater) but I prefer Hendrick’s with a slice of cucumber. Try it and you won’t be disappointed.
